SEVICON HAVC Control Box

Zhuhai SEVICON HVAC control boxes are designed with different external shapes and internal control layouts according to various HVAC systems, the application of SOLDO SS and SB series valve position transmitters to HVAC control valves, and environmental requirements (including secondary instruments on the box panel and primary instruments on site), forming either a control system or a complete assembly. They are widely used in industrial process control systems such as petroleum refining, metallurgy, chemical, light industry, textile, national defense, power, aviation, shipbuilding, pharmaceuticals, and machinery. The SOLDO SS series and SOLDO SB series transmitters provide reliable feedback signals, effectively ensuring the efficient and stable operation of HVAC systems.

Water resistance: Closed-cell structure, does not absorb water, moisture-proof, with good water resistance;

Corrosion resistance: Resistant to corrosion from seawater, oils, acids, alkalis, and other chemicals; antibacterial, non-toxic, odorless, and non-polluting;

Shock resistance: High resilience and tensile strength, strong toughness, with excellent shock absorption/cushioning performance;

Thermal Insulation: Excellent heat insulation, thermal retention, and low-temperature performance, capable of withstanding severe cold and exposure to sunlight;

Sound Insulation: Closed-cell structure with good soundproofing effect.

The Zhuhai SEVICON valve HVAC control box is used together with electric and pneumatic devices, and works with SOLDO SS and SB series products. It controls the opening and closing of electric valves, allowing you to control them remotely from the control room.

1.Fix the valve control box onto the bracket;

2. According to the principle diagram of the valve control box and the wiring diagram of the electric actuator, connect the valve control box to the actuator using cables corresponding to the terminal numbers; connect the three-phase four-wire power supply to the L1, L2, L3, and N terminals of the valve control box respectively;

3. Turn the selector switch on the panel to "Local"; after confirming that the wiring is correct, switch on the power. The "Power" indicator on the panel should light up;

4. When the valve is manually adjusted to the middle position, press the "Open" or "Send" button to check whether the valve\'s opening direction corresponds to the button. If it does not, swap any two phases of the three-phase motor cables;

5. Refer to the instruction manual of the valve control box device to complete the commissioning of the valve control box;

6. Press the "Open," "Close," and "Stop" buttons respectively, and check whether the pointer on the position indicator functions normally. If the position indication is opposite to the actual switching direction, adjust the circuits of potentiometers 202 and 204. When the valve is fully open, check whether the position indicator reaches its full scale. If there is any discrepancy, adjust the "Adjustment" button on the panel to achieve full scale. During valve opening, the red light flashes and stays on when the valve reaches the position; during valve closing, the green light flashes and stays on when the valve reaches the position;

7. "A13" and "A11" are the contacts for remote control opening, and "A43" and "A41" are the contacts for remote control closing.

Instructions for the SEVICON HVAC Control Box: The control box is designed for a two-phase three-wire input voltage of 220VAC, 50Hz. The valve control box can achieve \'local and remote control\' switching. \'Local\' refers to operation at the control box; \'remote control\' uses automatic 24V switch signals: when using the internal 24V power supply (module-powered), terminals B \Ɗ\' and \Ǝ\' form a loop for valve closure, and \ƌ\' and \Ǝ\' form a loop for valve opening. When using an external 24V power supply (the provided switch signal is a 24V electrical signal), terminal B \ƍ\' connects to the negative terminal of the external signal source. Conducting between \Ǝ\' and this terminal closes the valve, and conducting between \ƌ\' and this terminal opens the valve. All the above are for jog control; for continuous control, terminals B \Ǝ\' and \Ƌ\' should be shorted. This control box does not provide \'DCS\' functionality.
