Established on July 1, 1998, Honda is a 50:40:10 joint venture between Guangzhou Automobile Group Corporation, Honda Motor Co., Ltd and Honda Motor Co. for 30-year-cooeration.
GAC Honda has two plants located in Huangpu and Zengcheng with a combined production capacity of 480,000 vehicles per year and a combined land area of 1.6 million square meters. GAC Honda currently employs more than 8,000 people. The main products produced by GAC Honda include Corolla SUV series, Accord series, Odyssey utility series, Sprinter series, Vanguard series, Fit series, and its own brand Idea series, totaling more than 30 models in seven series.
